NAME: Dawn’s Envoy

TYPE: Samurai - Katana

APPEARANCE: Dawn’s Envoy has a perpetual faint glow to it almost as if it were encased in pure sunlight. The tip of the Saya, or scabbard, is orange with white clouds painted on the bottom of the tip. As it goes down the sheath becomes white and gold with clouds all the way down as the base of it. The Sageo, or hanging cord at the bottom of the Saya is bright gold and tied in a way that it looks like the sun peaking through the clouds.

Going to the blade itself, the wrapping around its hilt is a red color. The blade itself is a polished silver that reflects light off of the blade.the bottom of the blonde has red, carved flamed into it.

ABILITIES/ENCHANTMENTS: [break]
Relic of Fire:[break]
Dawn’s Envoy has an Affinity for fire. Upon a successful strike, Dawn’s Envoy will burst with glowing “embers” that can deal additional fire damage and could leave an enemy with lingering burn damage.

Envoy of the Sun:[break]
Whenever Haru’s back is against the wall and he is in trouble, the blade responds to his determination and will, glowing ever brighter. The blade gives him an increase in strength and speed. This is only applicable when health is low.

Heated Blade:[break]
Due to Dawn’s Envoy’s affinity with fire, the blade also does increased damage to ice type monsters and enemies.

BACKSTORY/ORIGIN:

Not much is known about Dawn’s Envoy’s history. The legend says it was once wielded by a great Doman samurai who fought to protect Doma from a legendary beast. Not much proof currently exists that this was a true story, this blade being the only evidence. The blade, however, does seem to respond to its wielder's wielder's “Fighting spirit”.

Haru and his lord, Musaku, found the blade while searching some Ancient Doman ruins, taking it back with them to keep in Musaku’s library of ancient relics. After Musaku’s library burnt down, nothing remained but Dawn’s Envoy. Haru picked up the blade and decided to keep it as a reminder.

To Haru, Dawn’s Envoy is more than just a katana, it is a symbol of justice and rebirth, creating a shining light of liberation for all to see.
