Then, Garlemald came. It only made sense that they did, Doma was broken and ripe for the taking. Fusae doesn't exactly blame them nor hate them for coming in, if anything their presence showed that at least someone cared. Sure, they treated them like low class citizens for a while but life was better than when they weren't there. However, as time went by the Garleans needed more people to make their army stronger, so they turned towards the Domans among their other controlled territories. Their methods of recruitment were forceful, sort of just taking people and making them put their lives on the line for their overlords. When it came to Fusae and her family, they were two options: one volunteers or all were enlisted. Remembering her vow to her deceased father, Fusae volunteered herself to fight on behalf of the Garlean, in the process earing herself a new name to show her transition towards becoming a Garlean herself.[break][break]
Now, with the Garlean occupation of Doma waning, Fusae finds herself in between the wars of her people. Who she was was now fighting for control versus who she now is and the miqo'te is torn. Which side she's on has yet to be decided, so until she's forced to make a decision she's content with staying in her position.
