APPEARANCE: The Grimoire of Abundant Life is a dark brown leather book with roots binding it together. At the top of the roots sprouts a large leaf. On the front of the grimoire, there is a purple and blue glowing carved face of a deer. The deer itself has aether coming out of the shape.

When the grimoire is opened the pages start to shine with purple and blue magic, with tiny white shiny orbs that look like stars.

ABILITIES/ENCHANTMENTS:
ASCIAN CREATION: Because of her status as an Ascian, this grimoire contains pages of the monsters that she has created. Lafi is able to summon these creatures to fight for her instead of "Primal beasts". (OOC: I will be keeping track of these summons so as to not overdo it, also limiting the amount she can do. This will lead to greater relationships with her creations and more personal plot and lore.)

BACKSTORY/ORIGIN: Believe it or not, Lafi actually made this book herself while she was out on her travels. She felt the need to create it as she was learning more and more, creating new beings and seeing new sights.

Lafi appearance differs from what you might consider a “Normal” Ascian might look like. Instead of wearing darker clothes and robes Lafi decides to wear something that lights up the room. She fell in love with Eastern clothing while exploring Othard and thus shed her dark clothes and adopted a bright, vibrant outfit befitting of the Eastern Culture.

To start off, her outfit of choice is an eastern yukata that covers half of her chest area with bandages covering the rest. On her back sits a large red rope tied into a bow. On right leg she wears an armored brace that she simply thought looked cool when she saw it.

Lafi herself is a rather thin and fit person as a result of her explorations. Her bright blonde hair is tied up in a messy and wild pony tail by an eastern bow.

THE LEGEND OF THE EXPLORER EXRAORDINAIRE
Chapter 1: Conception of the Explorer Extraodinaire[break]
Lafi doesn’t exactly remember when her life began as she was always just there as just one person in the Ancient race. It is said that Ascians can choose how they look, so from as early as she could remember she took on the race that best fit the personality of a bubbly, mischievous and quick witted person like her, the Miqo'te.

She often spent her days researching and trying to create different life forms, before eventually venturing out and exploring the different landmarks around Etheirys. She loved learning about the different cultures and discovering the vast differences between each continent.

She watched as time flew on the shard, seeing the ages pass, wars fought, cities submerged. She started to study mortal interactions, cultures, life forms and geography. However her studies were met with dissatisfaction a lot of the time because she didn’t quite fit in. Her success rate on life form creations were not so great either as she was rather clumsy and careless when creating things, oftentimes getting into trouble by her peers and becoming generally disliked.

Chapter 2: Path of the Explorer Extraordinaire

When the Shattering eclipse happened Lafi was stunned. Her work became more frantic as she tried to figure out ways to fix things. Life form after life form, trial after trial but there was nothing she could do. Her peers scoffed at her and called her useless for this.

She swore that she would prove herself to everyone, so that she may be accepted as an Ascian, whether or not she embraced the darkness. To do this she would turn her eyes towards the convocation, a group to which she had always idolized and looked up to as she would start attempts to earn their notices and favors.

And so Y’lafi would start off on her goal to become accepted so that she may gain the resources to further her creations and exploration.
