HISTORY

Amelia Haillenarte was born to a High House of Ishgard. As a girl, she was given little choice in her upbringing and stood to inherit little, so with her parents' endorsement, she entered Saint Endalim's Scholasticate. She graduated as one of the Trinity, successfully entered into the service of the Holy See, and was quick to take part in the power struggles inside the Vault. As she grew more successful and influential, Amelia gradually rose within the clergy's hierarchy until she was named a bishop in her twenty and fifth year. A record time in the history of the clergy.

In this year, Amelia had grown close to one of her childhood friends, Jean-Luc Vairemont. Despite normal practice, the two of them were married, and she would give birth to a blonde haired boy that they named Bellamy. Having broken a vow of celibacy, Amelia was scorned by those of the Orthadox Church, but regardless, the woman still gained the trust of the tribunal to deem her absolved of the crime, as it was imparitive to continue her bloodline as a member of a High House.

A decade later, Amelia would be elected Archbishop, and Jean-Luc would die at the hands of a Dravanian Horde attack in the cold of Coerthas. It is said that during this time, Amelia had changed as a person. No longer the kind mother that Bellamy knew, or the diligent bishop that cared for the people. It became about revenge.
