A traditional Doman, Tsubaki shares many traits with her heritage. Dark gossamer hair, pale skin, and petite figure. However it is her eyes that tell her apart. Bright violet hues that are cold in their gaze, losing the light that occupied them a few years ago. A beauty mark rests underneath the corner of her right eye. Lengthy tresses fall over her forehead and then tie at her back in a soft braid. Ribbons and decorative ornaments often clink and clang with her small steps.

On her body, she continues the traditional appearance even though she lives within a Garlean stronghold. A purple and white kimono hugs her frame, albeit short, and ending just a little past her hips. Long leg sleeves climb up to the apex between her legs and she pairs them with a set of wooden sandals.

Tsubaki was born to the late Doman Lord Asahi Nakagawa. Her days consisted of studies, lighting paper lanterns, playing the zheng, and practicing ninjutsu from the established Shinobi. As an only child at the age of eight, it was impactful when her mother Sakura had died. The bloodline could not continue, and there was no proper heir to the Nakagawa family. Decisions had to be made, and Asahi felt it best to marry his daughter to a noble family. A son that would be Lord of Doma.

After the years, this honor would go to a family that the Nakagawa's have been in an alliance with for three centuries. Their son, capable on the battlefield, was known as the greatests swordsman in the east. However before the marriage could take place, the shattering happened.
SCATTERING AND COLORING THE TOWN
Earthquakes demolished buildings, and flooding ruined the rice fields. Doma was in trouble, and to make it worse, --Garlemald invaded. Taking advantage of the weakened state, it was all to easy for the Shinobi to fall to the superior magitek. Storming the castle, Tsubaki's father was put to death right there in the throne room. The legatus demanding fealty from all the noble lords.

Doma was now occupied, and Tsubaki was a prisoner in her own home. A royal pawn.

One that they would take with them back to Garlemald. As a resistance had grown with passing time. The bethrothed lord rising up against the Garleans would drive them to return to their own Isle, but they wouldn't go alone. In hopes of using her to secure another occupancy of Doma, the Garleans took Princess Tsubaki with them.
