The Convocation of Fourteen

Long ago, on Etheirys, there was the progenitor race now only known as the Ancients. They were ruled by an inlet faction known as the Convocation of Fourteen. Amongst them, was an individual by the name of Hephaistos, who was gifted in creation magicks and an accomplished scholar; they accompanied the seat of Lahabrea, and would go by this title instead of their true name. during this time, Lahabrea had excelled and triumphed in their studies, creating some of the most aspected creatures.

The Sundering

Bringing about their own doom, the Ancients had little options to save the world as they knew it. The sundering, was the aetherical split of their world into mirrored fractions. Only a few were spared from the sundering with their memories and souls intact. One of which, was Lahabrea. Who would slowly break under the passing of time. Millenia upon millenia.

The Seventh Umbra Era

Although the actions of Lahabrea have been a mystery for the longest time; in recent decades the paragon has portrayed themselves as a Garlean Hyur. Decades spent as the magitek engineer and legatus of the VIIIth Imperial Legion. This is unknown to all, just as their intentions. At the time, by the name of Zalera Van Vellutus, they work within Garlemald. Continuing their brillant work to see about a new technelogical era.

The Calamity

The sudden and unforseen powers that caused the calamity could be nothing more than a blessing for Lahabrea, who would revel in the sown chaos. Urging the Garlean emperor to invade the weakened city states under the guise of expansion. Clearer intentions have not yet come to light, but the individual known as Zalera is seen as ambitious in the wake of the Calamity.

TRAIT NAME: Hephaistos

[break]DESCRIPTION: As one of the Ascian Paragons, Lahabrea is a powerful sorcerer who can call monsters from the void and cast spells, and create damaging orbs, and pools of Darkness. Lahabrea can teleport themself and others without the use of aetheryte and use the power of a Dark Crystal to possess a living host body. They developed spells like aetherial shackles, where the user conjures chains to immobilize a target, and interment, which freezes the space around its target, trapping it for an extended period of time. Lahabrea can also summon arcane spheres to increase thier power.

As a sundered ancient, Lahabrea is difficult to kill permanently, as their soul can be reincarnated time and time again. Also, if exposed to enough aether, they can take up an entirely different form, giving up their soul in trade for the immense power of a primal. If pushed, Lahabrea will shift into the being known as Hephaistos. With heightened abilties, they can create all manner of creatures and voidsent from the shattered void refraction.
