DESCRIPTION: At first glace, the weapon appears to be a simple magitek rifle, blending in comfortably with those of a common legionary. However, resting on the user's back are six drones ready to deploy at a moment's notice. They may hide comfortably beneath a cloak or other loose fitting fabric that allows them space to deploy.

MAGITEK FUNCTIONS: The rifle itself possesses no special properties. It fires just as any other would. The receiver, however, features a control arrangement that allows easy activation and control of the system's drones. These drones may fly anywhere within a ten meter radius of the user and come equipped with fully automatic ballistic fire capabilities, along with the ability to project a two square meter shield capable of absorbing even very powerful attacks. The drones are able to operate autonomously to an extent, activating and protecting the user if they detect an imminent threat, but any more complex use requires direct user input.

POWER SOURCE: The weapon's power source is located within the receiver of the rifle. The entire rifle need not be present, but the receiver must be at minimum for the drones to function. The ceruleum battery may be periodically recharged or replaced altogether.

DESCRIPTION: Towering over the battlefield, Messiah is a suit of magitek power armor that encases its' user completely. The hands are sharp claws that may be used for attacking. Silver plating guards the majority of the figure, but ample black carbon fiber shows through the joints, allowing the user ample range of motion and mobility. The chest, oversized shoulders, and facemask all display a deep ocean blue, the latter of which having piercing yellow eyes shining through at all times. Crimson red locks descend down nearly the entire frame in straight threads. Finally, an articulated silver tail snakes from its lower back, often resting on the ground.

MAGITEK FUNCTIONS: Being manufactured by the highest quality material that Garlemald has to offer, this armor provides the user with an immense amount of durability. In addition, the motors and hydraulics within the armor allow for a nearly superpowered level of strength and mobility.[break][break]
Messiah's main ability is the power to infuse itself with the essence of different elements. Namely these are: Fire, Ice, Lightning, Water, Holy, Dark, and Poison. These elements can never be combined and may only be cycled once every 3 posts. Once an element has been infused into Messiah, this is reflected in any attacks that come from its' claws and its tail. In addition, any weapon being wielded by the user will also have the element infused with it.

POWER SOURCE: An aetheric crystal rests in the small of the back. This crystal allows all aspects of the armor to function. If it were to be depowered, the armor would not even be feasible to wear, as the immense weight without any hydraulic assistance would be far too much for a Garlean to move in.

DESCRIPTION: Vanguard Zero is Lucius's handpicked squadron of elite Garlean soldiers that all report directly to him. There are four members that all come from different areas of the empire, each valued not on their rank but purely on their special capabilities. Each individual member is Luminary in power.

ROLE: SNIPER[break][break]
DESCRIPTION: Decimus, though born in Garlemald proper, was actually an Elezen. His unfortunate condition earned him nothing but scorn and dismissal from his peers. He was able to enlist by virtue of being a natural-born citizen, but he superior officers kept him relegated to chores and tiring night watches. It was through a stroke of luck that Lucius was able to see him in his element: at the shooting range, rifle in hand. His scores were beyond that of any recruit in the empires history. One would be hard-pressed to find even a centurion who could match his raw unrefined skill.[break][break]
MAGITEK: Decimus's weapon of choice is a long range personal railgun. It is accurate up to one mile in range, but requires an elaborate set up. It can be used on the move but the accuracy greatly suffers. The weapon does immense damage but can only be fired once every two posts at most. For situations where more flexibility is called for, he also brings a magitek revolver which he is also quite proficient with.[break][break]

ROLE: BRAWLER[break][break]
DESCRIPTION: Titus was never meant to be a soldier. He was a debt collector for a less than legal group operating in the shadows of the capital. Due to the nature of his industry, the fights he found himself in were rarely one sided. In fact, he was usually at a large numbers disadvantage. However, despite this he would still win; always. The empire does not take well to organized crime, so Titus was facing execution when he was finally caught. It was rare, almost unheard of, for a legionary to have that kind of close quarters experience, much less expertise. So, Lucius met with him and the adjudicator and made his offer.[break][break]
MAGITEK: Titus utilizes a pair of magitek gauntlets that are able to produce seismic waves with the powerful motors within them. He also dons magitek armor that is able to absorb moderate blows to the body, but leaves his head relatively undefended.[break][break]

ROLE: ENGINEER[break][break]
DESCRIPTION: Not only being simply a gifted magitek technician, Valentina has a passion for the craft that few can match. A normal member of an Armor Legion, she first caught Lucius' eye with the colorful decorations she gave her Vanguard unit. Looking into her history, she was not only a veritable expert on magitek, but also just about every other area of engineering. This, of course, was on top of her stellar marks as an ace vanguard pilot.[break][break]
MAGITEK: Valentina is the proud pilot of a Magitek Vanguard she has affectionally dubbed "BTY-EX (a.k.a Better than yours)". This colossal tank, like others of its type, is equipped with drills that can be fired at relatively close range and reloaded. In addition, Valentina carries around a deployable toolbox that allows her to work on demanding technical tasks on the fly.[break][break][break]

ROLE: HEAVY GUNNER[break][break]
DESCRIPTION: An obsessive weapon collector, Fabius was thrown to a military tribunal after being caught hiding out with an entire arsenal lifted from a legion armory. He was found after using the pilfered arms to turn an abandoned village in the wasteland to rubble; The resulting inferno clearly marking his location. If that kind of destruction could be controlled, it would be a valuable asset. To get that control, Lucius merely had to promise him a steady drip feed of toys.[break][break]
MAGITEK: Fabius' favorite toys for his job are a magitek light machine gun that is belt fed hundreds of rounds for extended periods of suppressing fire, and a portable magitek rocket launcher fashioned by Valentina from a decommissioned Magitek Armor.
